Product description Specification

An oak table draped in three layers of marbling paint. The lacquered finish at first looks like stone, evoking trompe l’oeil hand-painted furniture of the past. Sculpture reveals its raw materials, showing the layers of paint dripping down its wooden legs.

This product is meticulously handmade by master artisans one piece at a time. It is therefore quite difficult, if not impossible, to make identical items. Any natural blemishes or irregularities should not be misconstrued as flaws. These are what make each handmade piece unique.

Designer: Faye Toogood
