About

KOOKU — The Space Between Form and Presence

KOOKU is a curatorial platform where design becomes space - and space becomes emotion.

Founded on the principles of artistic integrity and curatorial selectivity, KOOKU redefines the experience of collectible and high-concept design. Our gallery presents a carefully composed selection of unique and limited-edition works alongside exceptional creations by renowned contemporary designers - pieces that, whether collectible or not, resonate with presence, refinement, and singular vision.

Our name - KOOKU - evokes 空 (kū), the Japanese concept of emptiness that is not absence but potential.
We believe that true form breathes. That space itself can be a material.

Every creation in our selection is chosen not only for its shape, but for its ability to open a silent dialogue with its surroundings — and with those who inhabit them. We curate works by globally recognized masters as well as emerging voices - artists and designers whose language transcends trend, market, and ornament. Each piece is handcrafted from noble materials, conceived as a singular event of matter and meaning, often made to order or carrying the rare spirit of authentic presence.

KOOKU operates through a hybrid model: a refined online gallery complemented by site-specific, conceptual activations across Europe. From private residences to ephemeral architectural installations, we explore how objects transform not just interiors - but perception itself.

KOOKU is for those who expect presence, not products.
For collectors, visionaries, and connoisseurs who understand that in the space between form and emptiness, true beauty lives.

Konrad Kudraszow

Founder and Artistic Director of KOOKU Gallery

Konrad Kudraszow founded KOOKU in 2014 with a vision to create more than a gallery — a space where design becomes presence. Guided by curatorial selectivity and artistic integrity, he has led KOOKU to international recognition for its distinctive approach to collectible and high-concept design.

KOOKU’s selection reflects this vision: a carefully curated mix of unique and limited-edition works alongside exceptional pieces by renowned contemporary designers. What unites them is not trend, but resonance — each object chosen for its singular presence, material depth, and conceptual clarity.

As a self-taught designer and creative director, Kudraszow developed a highly personal spatial language — one that balances refinement with rawness, tradition with experimentation. His residential and commercial interiors are known for their quiet intensity: rare stones, wood, and metal composed into sculptural narratives that are both timeless and emotionally charged.

His aesthetic can be described as dramatic minimalism — where silence, texture, and form converge to create spatial experiences that go beyond function or beauty. Every detail is intentional; every material, expressive.

Through his leadership, KOOKU has become a curatorial platform where design is not just selected, but composed — and where every object becomes a moment of tension, presence, and meaning.
