At KOOKU, each object is treated with care - from the moment it is commissioned to the moment it arrives in your space. Most of our pieces are made to order and handcrafted with precision. This process may take several weeks, depending on the materials, complexity, and production schedule.
Production first, delivery later
As our pieces are custom-made, shipping costs cannot be definitively calculated at the time of purchase. Transport rates fluctuate, and we want to ensure you receive a fair and accurate quotation.
You may request a non-binding shipping estimate once your order is placed. However, the final delivery cost is confirmed after production is complete and the object is ready to ship. This amount must be accepted and settled prior to dispatch.
Delivery methods
We offer several options depending on the size, destination, and handling requirements of your object:
- Courier delivery
For smaller pieces. Fast, efficient doorstep delivery via trusted parcel services. - Curbside delivery
For larger or heavier objects. Delivery is made to the front of the building at street level. Unpacking and placement are the client’s responsibility. - White glove delivery (available on request)
We offer several levels of white glove service, depending on destination and scope:- Standard: delivery to a specific room, basic unpacking, and removal of packaging.
- Enhanced: full placement and light installation assistance (e.g. adjusting a table, placing a lamp).
- Custom: for complex projects or multi-object installations. Pricing and availability vary depending on location.
- Client pick-up (EXW)
You may choose to collect your piece personally or via an appointed agent.
Collection can take place: - directly from the manufacturer’s location, or
- from the KOOKU Warehouse in Poland, once the object has been delivered there.
Storage & consolidated shipping
For overseas clients or multi-piece projects, we offer the option to store and consolidate multiple orders at our warehouse in Poland.
Once all objects are ready, we can coordinate a single, optimized shipment. This helps reduce transport costs and simplifies customs procedures. We also assist with packing, documentation, and scheduling.
This solution is especially useful for interior designers, studios, and international collectors.
Insurance & liability
If KOOKU organizes your shipment, your order will be fully insured during transport, up to the moment of delivery at the agreed destination (doorstep or room of choice, depending on service level).
If you choose to arrange your own transport or pick-up (EXW), responsibility and risk transfer to you the moment the goods are collected from the manufacturer or warehouse. From that point on, KOOKU is no longer liable for any damage, loss, or delay.
Regardless of the shipping method, we strongly recommend inspecting all deliveries immediately upon receipt. Any visible or suspected transport damage must be reported to KOOKU and the carrier within 72 hours.
