Product description Specification

Architect and passionate about research, Luca Erba also is a product designer with a strong commitment to craftsmanship, especially when related to his home area, Lombardy, in Italy. There, he drew his inspiration from the Variegato Lombardosecular tradition, a tile made of mixed clay, to design “Terra”. This 16th century technic is based on blending and joining two different types of clay. During the firing, each of them unveils very subtil veins and a beautiful interlacing of colors : reds, tangerine, pale yellow… Luca Erba here revisits this tradition with a small piece of furniture which seems to be cut in the mass. A handmade, sculpted block, which makes each piece unique.

Collection Particuliere

In the common language, Collection Particuliere is a mysterious note appearing below a piece of art might it be a painting, a photography or a sculpture exposed in the warm atmosphere of a museum or an exhibition. A piece of art temporarily lent by a collector, mainly for the beauty of the act. A collector who, many a time, remains anonymous. Yet, one can guess this collector is a wise and informed person. Therefore, naming a furnishing company Collection Particuliere can't obviously be insignificant. It has views to developing a particular semantic and aesthetic field and to give birth to noble as well as meaning objects and pieces of furniture.
