Originated from drawings featuring dots and lines, hydra, is a series of 3 dimensional light objects that are seamlessly interconnected to live with us in our surroundings. Hydra appears to be weightless, harmonic, and flow across three dimensions of a space. Their continuous form has no discernible beginning or end, allowing viewers perception to change as it is viewed from multiple angles. The arms of the sculpture pivot to enable direction of light where desired. Each piece is sculpted by hand using techniques such as hammering, bending and casting. Resulting forms possess an organic and playful quality, exuding a sense of freedom and intuition. To be installed as clusters or individual pieces.
