The theme of ROOMS’ last highly regarded exhibition ‘Wild Minimalism,’ is further explored in the Wild Bench. Inspired by a desire to go “back to the Roots” and draw some aesthetic inspiration from ethnic Georgian furniture, ROOMS have played with the archaic juxtaposed against the modern. To further emphasize these themes, the wooden “Wild Bench” has been painted in gold, giving it a new depth and perspective whilst maintaining its archaic handcrafted form.

Rooms, the Tbilisi-based multidisciplinary Interior and product design studio founded by Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia, brings a strong graphic presence and exceptional craftsmanship to their products. For the “Wild Minimalism” collection, the duo eschewed the “fake world,” seeking solutions that drew on nature and a primitivism, with pure materials such as stone, wood, brass and glass.

Rooms is the Tbilisi-based Interior and product design studio founded by Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia. Distinguished by a strong graphic presence, the studio’s work spans hospitality and retail design, residential projects as well as furniture, lighting and accessories. Rooms’ design is informed by a fondness for simplicity, sense of worldliness and a mental acuity. In less than ten years, the studio has caught the attention of the world’s preeminent design stores and galleries.
